Tour Down Under 2017: 5 conclusions.
"It
would have been easy to dismiss the Australian press and
their giddy embrace of Richie Porte's win as pure hype but
that would have been an injustice to all concerned.
There is something different about Porte this year, and it's not just the fact that his weight appears as low as it has ever been before. It's the steel in his demeanor and a spring in his step." (cyclingnews.com) (Photo: Tim De Waele) January 23, 2017

"It’s
kind of stating the obvious to say that cyclists tend to
love their bikes. While for the average person, a bicycle is
just a piece of equipment to aid transportation or perhaps
facilitate fitness gains, to us our bikes are a part of the
family.
Our appreciation for bikes means that, above all else, we want to look after them; we want to keep them safe and comfortable, and perhaps even show them off." (totalwomenscycling.com) January 23, 2017
