Renshaw hoping return to the track will be
beneficial to a successful 2017 season.
"Mark
Renshaw has been a professional for over ten years at the top of the
sport with some of the best teams in the business. The Australian has
also been on his fair share of training and team camps since turning
professional in 2004 with FDJ.
Of those camps, the last two have been with Dimension Data in Cape Town, South Africa where the team via the Qhubeka charity donate bicycles to local school children." (cyclingnews.com) (Photo: Tim De Waele) November

Paris-Roubaix Day.
Interested in reading the whole thing, or to give as a gift? There’s a link to both the e-pub and print versions via the publisher Lulu Press. Or, if it’s easier, just get it from Amazon. " (podiumcafe.com) Chris Fontecchio November

Best gravel bikes of the year.
"Gravel
bikes are do-anything, go-anywhere adventure machines that can help
kick your boring road rides up a notch. They often look like cyclocross
bikes but typically have lower bottom brackets and longer wheelbases
for added stability on loose and chunky terrain.
Gravel-specific rigs should have at least enough room to fit 35mm tires, but we prefer bigger clearance for 40mm rubber, just in case the roads get muddy. These are our favorite gravel bikes from the 2016 crop of test rigs." (velonews.com) November

Tyler Hamilton: Cyclists are put through the
wringer. It is the hardest sport in the world.
"Tyler Hamilton rode for Lance
Armstrong during three of the seven Tour de France victories the Texan
won while doping.
Hamilton was stripped of the 2004 Olympic road time trial gold medal after failing a drug test and in 2011 declared his and the team’s doping in grand jury testimony, interviews and a book." (cycling.today) November

wirelessly from one device to another, so that your phone, bike
computer, heart rate monitor, power meter and other training devices
can talk to each other and allow technology to make your cycling (and
life) better than ever.
But how does it work?" (pezcyclingnews.com) November

The redemption of Tyler Hamilton.
"A
curious thing happened back in 2010. Tyler Hamilton, former US Postal
rider and past teammate of Lance Armstrong, had been called to give
evidence in front of a federal grand jury. It was investigating
allegations of doping within that squad. When the subpoena arrived, he
had no choice."

is the story of Giuliano Calore and one of his final attempts to become
part of the history of cycling.
The Italian – who we posted an article about earlier this year – decided to take on the tricky descent of the Passo Stelvio with its 48 hairpin bends, on a bike with no handlebars or brakes and with illumination provided by just a torch and moonlight."(thebikecomesfirst.com) November
