Thumbnail Credit (cyclingnews.com) (Getty Images Sport): It wouldn't be a Tour de France without Thomas Voeckler in a breakaway (Getty Images Sport)Thumb Overlay."There was a moment during this year's Tour de France when, with the peloton ambling along behind the break on stage 3, Thomas Voeckler went on the attack – not with serious hopes of victory, but simply to make something – anything – happen.

The charismatic Frenchman took in the route of the 2017 edition, unveiled in Paris on Tuesday, and stated he wanted to once again be an 'acteur' in what will be his final Tour de France."

Thumbnail Credit (cyclingweekly.co.uk): Peter Sagan in world champion's kit Credit: Tinkoff-Saxo Thumb Overlay."Everyone wants to be world champion. Not only do you get crowned the best in the world on race day, but you get to wear the coveted rainbow stripes for a whole year to show off your triumph. But not all world champions kits are created equal.

There’s been some real good looking champs kits over the years, but there’s been a few stinkers too…which got us thinking about which exactly were the worst world champion’s kits over the years."

Riders and Fans React as La Course Moves from Paris.

Thumbnail Credit (totalwomenscycling.com): Chloe Hosking wins La Course 2016Thumb Overlay."There were hopes this year that we’d see Paris race La Course expand to take the event one step closer to a women’s Tour de France – but those hopes were dashed when event organizers made their big 2017 announcement.

Tested: Cannondale SuperSix EVO Hi-Mod Disc.

Thumbnail Credit (pelotonmagazine.com): Cannondale managed to keep it crazy light: the 829-gram Hi-Mod frame, kitted out with Cannondale’s HollowGram cranks and its other System Integration components, keeps it tickling the UCI minimum. Thumb Overlay."Most manufacturers claim that the frames of disc-brake race bikes retain the light and lively feel of the rim-brake version; sadly, this is rarely the case. Added layers of carbon to reinforce disc-brake zones and the extra weight they carry can leave them a pedal stroke behind.

The new Cannondale Super Six EVO Disc does a better job than any previous race bike at going disc. In fact, we think the disc version is a better all-around race package."
