No Oude Kwaremont in 2022 Kuurne Brussels Kuurne as race seeks new climbs. "A total
of 13 hellingen will be climbed during the 195.1km
race, but it will omit the Oude Kwaremont as organizers try
to highlight lesser-known ascents. The famous Oude Kwaremont
features in many of the major cobbled classics over the
spring."

Dutchman was served a nine-month ban for his part in causing
Fabio Jakobsen’s horrific crash at the 2020 Tour of Poland -

January 1st 1939, Tommy Godwin set off on his bike. That
year, as Europe entered into war, Godwin would embark on a
record attempt that even now almost defies belief. Godwin
was aiming for the cycling year record (now referred to as
the Highest Annual Mileage Record) and would eventually
reach 75,065 miles."
