28 year old received the sanction mid-race after
taking an irregular bike change in the closing
kilometers of the 135.5km stage between Al Mouj
and Matrah Corniche. The issue arose when Aqua
Blue rider Blythe took a bike from the side of the
road as the peloton passed the team car, which had
gone ahead to prepare the bike."

developed a drug test that they claim takes
between 10 and 55 seconds and could cost just a
few dollars per sample. It is understood that the
test uses coated blade-spray mass spectrometry
that can detect more than 100 drugs using a drop
of blood or a few milliliters of urine on a coated
sample strip at the parts per billion level - the
equivalent of being able to detect a sugar cube
