Tanfield wins Tour de Yorkshire

Tanfield (Canyon Eisberg) took a surprise win on
the first stage of the Tour de Yorkshire in
Doncaster, as the breakaway held off the peloton
on what was expected to be a nailed-on sprint.

admissions that he used TUEs to gain an edge

Kalamazoo Killer Guilty.

Pickett Jr., the driver who killed five riders and
injured four more with his pickup truck in
Kalamazoo, Mich., has been found guilty of all
charges. In June of 2016 Pickett drove his pickup
58 mph in a 35 mph zone while orbiting on
methamphetamine, muscle relaxers and pain
medications and then plowed into a group of

cortisone TUEs for several riders.
"Dutch
publication AD.nl has alleged that the
former Vacansoleil DCM team used Therapeutic Use
Exemptions (TUEs) for ‘non-existent’ injuries in
order to obtain cortisone for several riders
within the team. AD reports that a doctor
at the team, which was founded in 2009 and
disbanded in 2013, obtained TUEs for Johnny
Hoogerland and Aart Vierhouten. Both have denied
the accusations."
