Column Two

As you probably surmised, it's been a tough weekend. I was not able to do much, mostly sleep. The issue being dizziness, when sitting up for more than a few minutes my vision would go dark and I felt like I was going to pass out.

I asked the surgeon about it today and it turns out I have blood loss anemia. Odd, but knowing what it is seems to make it easier to deal with.

Everything else is healing pretty much as it should (I do not think my femur could hold any more metal - top to bottom metal!).

Thanks!
Doug

This is Doug.

On Friday I had a bad crash just after leaving the house for a ride. Surgery was successful but it may be later in the week before I can get out of the hospital and back to work.

My goal is to get back for the Tour or sooner.

Please bear with me while I get back up to speed!

Thanks!
