CyclingNews: Team Saxo Bank is expected to announce a new name co-sponsor at a press conference called for Monday. According to Borsen.dk, the new co-sponsor will be a “foreign” bank.

CXMagazine: The carbon cantilever-equipped SuperX frame remains unchanged for this season, but the top-shelf SRAM Red model now comes with Avid BB7 Ultimate mechanical disc brakes, as ridden by Tim Johnson of Cannondale p/b CyclocrossWorld last season.

BikeRumor: According to Lefty product manager Drew Hannah, this is the biggest innovation in Lefty since its inception 13 years ago. Cannondale has always claimed it to be lighter, stiffer and stronger than any other fork on the market thanks to its dual crown inverted design, which puts more material where it’s needed (40mm stanchion at the top, 32mm at the bottom) with two clamps at the top.

CyclingFans: Elite men national championship road races for a number of countries including Belgium, France, and the Netherlands are on Sunday.  We expect to have live feeds for the Netherlands from 2:15pm CET (8:15am U.S. Eastern), for Belgium from 2:30pm CET (8:30am U.S. Eastern) and for France from 3:20pm CET (9:20am U.S. Eastern).

InnerRing: It’s the weekend of the national championships across Europe. While America, Asia and Australia have different weekends, pretty much everywhere in Europe sees simultaneous national championships. In some European countries these races can take on a strange feel with several teams of 25 riders starting, making the tactics completely different from your usual race.

CyclingNews: RadioShack-Nissan will be without its general manager in this year's Tour de France, as Johan Bruyneel has decided to stay away from the race after being embroiled in a possible doping case with the US Anti Doping Agency (USADA).

CyclingNews: Former Tour de France winner Jan Ullrich hasn't raced professionally since his removal from the Tour 2006 and seems to have finally moved on from the difficult years which followed his dramatic exit from the sport. The German is currently ‘serving’ a two year suspension for his involvement in Operacion Puerto while he has no intension of returning to the sport.

MSNBC: Lance Armstrong filed a scathing response Friday to the latest doping allegations against him, accusing the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency of violating its own rules and possibly breaking federal law during its investigation.

CyclingNews: According to the Telenet-Fidea team, Wellens's case was dropped after investigators found no evidence that his sudden illness in January had anything to do with the use of performance enhancing drugs.

Miriam Welte set a new word record in the flying 200 at the US Sprint Grand Prix in Colorado Springs on Friday. She covered the distance in only 10.64 seconds in qualifications, with German teammate Kristina Vogel second at 10:78.
