BikeRadar verdict: 4.5 out of 5 stars. "Brilliant tubeless-ready all-rounders for racing and training."

PodiumCafe: When it comes to books about the Tour de France, there's so many of them that we're left beating them off with a stick. For the Vuelta a España there is but one. The Giro d'Italia has - in very recent years - become the Goldilocks of the Grand Tours, with neither too many nor too few books available telling aspects of its story.

Photo: Stage 4 winner, his 13th at the race, Andre Greipel (Lotto Belisol).
CyclingNews: Berhane retains overall lead.

TwistedSpoke: Stage four of the Tour of Turkey in Marmaris is over when we Skype with Timmy Duggan. It’s his first race back after breaking his clavicle and fracturing his tibia in a terrible crash at the Tour Down Under.

Photo: Tour de Romandie Stage 3 Profile.
CyclingFans: Friday's Tour de Romandie Stage 3 departs Payerne at 12:47pm CET (6:47am U.S. Eastern) and is expected at the finish at Payerne at around 5:18pm CET (11:18am U.S. Eastern).  Tour de Romandie live video streaming should get underway at around 4:00pm CET (10:00am U.S. Eastern).

VeloNews: USA Pro Challenge organizers unveiled a route for the 2013 race on Thursday morning that will feature a return to the Vail Pass time trial, a frantic, hilly stage in northern Colorado, and a final-day circuit race in downtown Denver.

Photo: It a way this is pure Hansen. He moved to narrow handlebars in 2010 and has now encouraged others in his time to copy.
InnerRing: One curiosity has been Adam Hansen’s custom shoes. Now prototype gear gets tested in races but the difference here is that the Lotto-Belisol rider is making his own shoes.

Photo: La Ruta de los Conquistadores is a coast-to-coast mountain bike stage race.
Outdoors: Picture railroad tracks on a bridge the length of a football field perched hundreds of feet above a crocodile infested river.  At first glance, the bridge doesn’t seem so bad. But soon, you are gingerly stepping across wet ties in stiff cycling shoes, carrying your bike and dizzy with vertigo.

Photo: Stan’s conversion kit, rubbing alcohol, a clean towel, mild bike cleaner or soapy water, flat-head screwdriver, and tire levers.
MBAction: Tubeless wheelsets offer great performance; however, they can be quite costly. Stan’s NoTubes offers a conversion kit for $64 that converts a set of standard rims and tires into a tubeless wheelset.

Photo: Gianni Meersman (Omega Pharma-Quickstep) won the stage and took the race lead.
CyclingNews: Froome retains overall lead.

InnerRing: The Giro is 10 days away. Here’s a concise overview of every stage with more on the jerseys, classifications, TV listings.

VeloNews: Andy Schleck (RadioShack-Leopard) is starting to see a glimmer of hope after what’s been an annus horribilis for the Luxembourg star.

Photo: USADA chief Travis Tygart (R) shakes hands with Senator Arlen Specter at a 2009 hearing.
CyclingNews: USADA chief wants the information.

Photo: Only Aura Pros used on the two Cervélo are recalled, not the aftermarket version.
BikeRadar: 3T is recalling Aura Pro aerobars that were sold as original equipment on two Cervélo 2013 bikes, the P3 with Shimano Ultegra and the P5 Three with SRAM Red.

Photo: Philippe Gaumont in 2004.
CyclingNews: Former French rider confessed to doping while at Cofidis.

Photo: After spending much of his time on the ground and in the hospital during the 2013 spring classics season, Tom Boonen will return to action in May at the Amgen Tour of California.
VeloNews: Tom Boonen (Omega Pharma-Quick Step) returns to competition next month at the Amgen Tour of California hoping to put his rough and tumble start to the 2013 season in the rearview mirror.

Photo: Pro cycling does not exist in a bubble and Europe’s economic woes are causing real problems.
InnerRing: Spain’s unemployment level has reached to a record high of more than six million people, a rate of 27%. Numbers to be released this evening expect to show record bad news for France too. Italians are trying to form a government after months of institutional crisis, the Swiss are bringing in measures to curb immigration and the continent’s shared currency is causing headaches from Cyprus to Slovenia and beyond.

Photo: We’re talking about FG-4592/ASP1517.
CyclingTips: Much has been written in recent years about the future of doping in cycling and what drug, if any, will replace EPO as the compound of choice.
