CyclingFans:  Friday's Tour de France Stage 19 departs Bourg d'Oisans at 10:55am CET (4:55am U.S. Eastern) and is expected at the finish at Le Grand-Bornand at around 5:23pm CET (11:23am U.S. Eastern).  Tour de France live streaming video should get underway at around 10:45am CET (4:45am U.S. Eastern).

Photo: Tejay van Garderen looked set for his first Tour stage win until Christophe Riblon crashed his part on l'Alpe d'Huez.
VeloNews: The crack was coming, sure as the rest of the Tour de France was behind it. He fought to hold them both off, and he nearly succeeded, if not for the ferocity of the second trip up l’Alpe d’Huez and the fury of Cristophe Riblon.

CyclingNews: van Garderen overhauled in tense finale.

VeloNews: Tour de France officials pulled aside and weighed the bikes of stage winner Christophe Riblon and yellow jersey Chris Froome, as well as Alberto Contador, Tejay van Garderen, and Joaquim Rodríguez following Thursday’s stage 18 finish atop l’Alpe d’Huez..

Photo: 80-percent chance of rain and hail!
Peloton: There are fears that the sinister, sinuous descent of the Col de Sarenne on Thursday’s 18th stage of the 100th Tour de France will prove a disastrous pick by race director Christian Prudhomme.

Photo: Chris Froome is quiet and mild-mannered off the bike, but he's gotten aggressive at times in recent days.

Photo: Tour de France leader Chris Froome (Sky).
CyclingNews: Team Sky rider still manages to extend his lead at Alpe d'Huez.

Photo: I’ve never seen a race leader or even a GC contender calling for food so deep into a race.
PEZ: Twice up the mythical Alpe d’huez, attacks from afar, changes in the GC, the first French win of the Tour and a hunger flat for the yellow jersey. There’s a lot for Lee to analyze after today’s historical Alpe d’Huez stage.
