It's
been an odd build-up to the Tour de France for Marcel Kittel. But
is that such a bad thing? Having captured two stages in the Giro
d'Italia in stunning style, he made a sudden abandon of the race with a
fever on stage four. His recent triumphs in the Ster-ZLM Toer, though,
would suggest he is right where he wants to be for the build-up to the
Tour. (cyclingnews.com)

proved herself to be one of the greatest women’s racers the sport has
ever seen. (velonews.com)

June 26, 2014 Orbea introduced the
latest edition of the Orca. This new revision addressed the criticism
that the Orca was a bit heavy (a 56cm frame was north of 1kg) and also
rather shy on comfort. They’ve flattened the top tube vertically,
sloped it to increase seatpost extension and changed the layup all as a
means to give the bike a less jarring ride. (redkiteprayer.com)

June 26, 2014 "The
new system utilizes a inner tube (that’s not really an inner tube) to
inflate the center channel of the tire. Then a second valve is inflated
at a much higher volume, which presses against the tire bead. This
helps prevent burping and allows the rider to dial in traction
without worrying about flatting." (bikerumor.com)
