Chris Froome had a dramatic day in the Vuelta a Espana as he was briefly distanced after an early crash before gaining 2 seconds on his rivals in the finale. The Brit was pleased with the outcome as he appears to have escaped the incident relatively unscathed. (cyclingquotes.com)

USA Cycling announced today that the 2014-15 edition of their Professional Cyclocross Calendar (Pro CX) will begin on September 6 and run through January 4, and will again feature a $40,000 prize purse to be split between the top riders in each of the men’s and women’s final standings.
