Photo: the Velocité. We spoke to Lightweight’s Frank Jeniche about the bike, which is a collaboration between Lightweight and Dresden University.
There’s always lots of electric bikes at Eurobike. Lots and lots and lots. From folding bikes to road bikes to mountain bikes to fat bikes, everything gets a motor fitted by someone. One place we weren’t expecting to find one, however, was the Lightweight stand. You know, the purveyors of German carbon über lightness that make the posh wheels and the Urgestalt frameset. By now you've heard the news... Tyler Farrar, the Wonder of Wenatchee, Washington, is saying goodbye to his long-time professional home, the Argyle Bunch. Garmin are undergoing some significant changes, blah blah blah... short of it is, if they offered him a contract at all, it must not have been a very good one. (podiumcafe.com)

Photo: it promises fireworks. I suppose the only downside now is that with Ghisallo so early we will miss the ringing of the bells but that seems like a small price to pay.
The fall classic usually nicknamed "the race of the falling leaves" should perhaps be known as "the race of the changing percorso". This years edition will see a very different look. All new, but still looks like one of the best courses of the year. (podiumcafe.com)

Hope has always  been about manufacturing products in the UK. If there is something they think they can do better, they’ll develop the processes in house to make it happen. Robin Williams loved lube. He loved chain lube and rear derailleurs, lactic acid and bike geometry. Just mention the bicycle, and he melted, his fingers tracing his oration of the bicycle as art, as utility and culture. He worshiped bicycles. This was not lip-service from a Hollywood star. He owned 60 bikes. (velonews.com)

Photo: I’ve been wearing the CX237 for a couple of months now and am highly impressed.
In addition to the carbon fiber sole, the Lake CX237 feature a kangaroo leather upper and a double Boa closure. The kangaroo leather gives the upper a more supple feel than many competing shoes, not to mention greater breathability. Because this is a natural leather it will stretch a bit and the fit did improve over the first two months of riding before the fit settled in. (redkiteprayer.com)

Photo: Overall, I can unreservedly say that the BSB 9 RDO get’s my vote..
It was around this time last year that I first laid eyes on the Niner RLT 9 at Interbike. Needless to say, it was a pretty big deal at the show. Similarly, albeit better timed, the BSB 9 RDO was launched just shortly ahead of the ‘cross season. (competitivecyclist.com)

Photo: Like the new models from Trek, Fuji, and Lapierre, Canyon has switched to Shimano's new direct-mount brake system. Direct-mount improves tire clearance and decreases weight, while also tucking into the frame more neatly, which can decrease drag. Photo: Caley Fretz | VeloNews.com.
Two bolts, in this case, are better than one. Do not be fooled by the nasty, ill-tempered, poorly functioning U-brakes of mountain bikes past. The latest direct-mount road brakes may look somewhat similar, but they exist in an entirely different realm of fit and function. (velonews.com)
