Riding to win all three grand tours in one season is possible, Bernard Hinault said. Photo: Tim De Waele | TDWsport.com.
Italy’s Vincenzo Nibali has the capability of racing all three grand tours in 2015 according to the experts, but he remains unconvinced of the idea.
“The current calendar provides more space for recovery between one tour and another,” five-time Tour de France winner Bernard Hinault said Monday night. “For this reason exactly, I think it is possible to race as a challenger not only in the Giro and the Tour, but also in the Vuelta.” (velonews.com)

"The 2015 Giro d’Italia starts in Liguria – one of my favorite regions of la bell’Italia. An aero helmet can be a cost-effective upgrade compared to, say, an aero-tubed frame. And as there’s often little to choose between aero helmets in terms of aerodynamics, it can easily come down to what’s comfortable. (bikeradar.com)

Cervelo's Test Team is an example of an unfortunate, yet common phenomenon in cycling. Despite the team's all-star roster and strong results, it folded within two years of its inception. This is indicative of cycling's unstable financial footing. Photo: Tim De Waele | TDWsport.com (File).
Cycling is a unique sport, freely accessible to tens of millions of fans every year. Whether it is the estimated 15 million people who watch the Tour de France in person each year, or the countless spectators of the classics, regional pro races, and downtown criteriums, almost no one has to walk through a turnstile or pay admission for the privilege. This is one of the great allures of the sport — the ability to get up close and personal with the riders, and truly experience the race first-hand. (velonews.com)
